In January 2022 we planted two copses with the help of Gareth Walters from Deeper Green Services and more than 30 local people. The larger copse comprises approximately 200 trees and the smaller copse 40 trees. All tree planting was funded by the Forest of Avon.
In January 2023 we replaced trees that had died in the prolonged drought of summer 2022. We planted 60 new trees in the larger copse. The trees were donated by Conservation Volunteers' I Dig Trees scheme.
The species include: Alder, Alder Buckthorn, Aspen, Birch, Bird Cherry, Field Maple, Hazel, Rowan, Spindle, Wayfaring Tree, Wild Cherry.
